These high quality connectors are designed for use with solar systems and feature a unique cable connection method which does not require a crimping tool. The spring cage connection attaches to your stripped solar cable as you assemble the cable insert allowing you to quickly attach the connectors without needing to carry a specialty crimping tool. The spring cage also makes these connectors suitable for use with most common sizes of low loss solar cable including our 2.5, 4, and 6 mm² cables. They are made from UV resistant plastic with an IP67 environment rated and have silver plated contacts giving excellent corrosion resistance.
